Public statement on lobbying activities

OUR CURRENT POSITION

Sustainability Partner does not itself carry out lobbying activities and does not seek to directly influence legislation, regulations or public policy decisions through formal or informal lobbying channels. We do participate in business networks for networking, knowledge sharing and business cooperation.

Membership of Voka and other business networks

Sustainability Partner is a member of Voka. The purpose of this membership is to establish contacts with other businesses, exchange knowledge and experience, and participate in relevant business activities. The annual membership fee is paid for that purpose.

Voka is also active in advocacy. However, through its membership Sustainability Partner does not give Voka a specific mandate to advocate particular legislation, regulations or policy positions on behalf of Sustainability Partner. We do not pay a separate or earmarked contribution for specific lobbying activities.

Membership does not mean that Sustainability Partner automatically endorses all of Voka’s public policy positions. If we actively participate in a policy working group, campaign or other form of advocacy in the future, we will assess and document this separately and disclose material activities transparently.

Future changes

If Sustainability Partner itself actively or systematically participates in lobbying or policy-influencing activities in the future, the company will first establish and publish a formal responsible lobbying policy. This also applies when a membership or cooperation develops into material policy influence on behalf of Sustainability Partner.

Governance and approval

This statement is formally approved by Sustainability Partner’s highest governing body. The Managing Partner reviews the statement at least annually and whenever significant changes occur in memberships or activities related to public policy influence.

Publication and transparency

This statement is made publicly available on Sustainability Partner’s website and is accessible to all stakeholders.
